  This saloon was my favourite and only saloon that I was going for the last 5 years because is organic vegan and the products are amazing. Unfortunately the last experience that I had cost me cutting my hair because it was so damaged that I could not do anything else about it. So here we go, nothing to say about the caridade team because they were like hair doctors for me, but my last experience with the clayfield team was not. Well, I worked at saloons before and also with beauty academy in Brisbane and I know how the steps should look like. The lady that dyed my hair I have no issues at all, we did the changes etc, but the lady that washed my hairs clearly didn’t know what she was doing, she spent over 10 min washing my hair and then…the worst came! Another lady came in to brush my hair and again, do you guys know how to brush a hair? When I left the chair part of my hair was completely damaged and tangled looking like a dreadlocks and then here it comes another lady to brush my hair without a cream and she just started to brush so hard that I could listen my hair breaking down…that noise for me was the end. I kept looking at her without saying a word but that shocked me because I didn’t expect that. After she completely break the tangled part she finally decided to put a cream on it, but then, well she already broke that part so I could expect what was coming after my hair completely dry on the sun. Guys, I really loved that saloon but unfortunately after that, I don’t think I can go back, I am fully traumatised because my curls was not asking for that, and is such a shame and a lack of basic hair knowledge. Don’t brush a curly hair with a normal brush, don’t offer a dryer “just to see the color” because curly hair you need to do a fully blow dry if you don’t want me to go out of the saloon looking like a Lion, and they should know that, I’ve been following hair courses before and again, she didn’t look that she was caring much, 3 people to take care 1 hair? This is wrong!. Sorry for that. I cut my hair yesterday because I spent 2 weeks washing just with conditioner but the girl that brush my hair damaged so much that I could do nothing. And I feel sad. I lost money (this salon is definitely not cheap) time and the results looks absolutely terrible. I’m not coming back.

  I had such a great experience here. The vibe is great, they have music, they even clean and wash your hair before starting to cut it. Although I was one of the practice subjects I must say I was truly amazed by the excellent job Brontë did and I highly recommend booking her.
  I was also amazed by the fact they let new hairdressers practice and gain some experience, not many businesses do that. It also smells nice

  Edit: I’ve been coming here the past 2-3 years.
  
  I love that they use natural products. Not having to smell that chemical smell while getting your hair done is such a big bonus.
  
  But sadly I’m done here now. Staff really struggle with the concept of removing bulk/ thinning hair without giving you layers or removing length.
  
  Each time I’ve asked for the bull to be removed they explain they’ll need to give layers.
  
  No, you don’t. Just have a quick Google or check out a YouTube tutorial. The information is out there…

  First let’s just say this is the most beautiful salon I have ever seen.
  Second spot on with ever service they have provided, their work ethic is outstanding. Their customer service is amazing.
  Will definitely be back and recommending to everyone I know !!

  Amazing Service, at CARINDALE
  Salon & the head massage was very relaxing, and the best I have ever had.
  My Hair feels and looks like Virgin hair again,
  Form the Hair Treatments. My hair is so heathy now it's growing much Faster.
  I'm so happy and I am going back soon.
